Fraud

We are committed to the fight against fraud in all its forms. Any applicant who tries to fraudulently claim a reduction to their council tax charge might have committed an offence under the Fraud Act 2006.

If we suspect that fraud may have occurred, the matter will be investigated as appropriate, and this could result in criminal proceedings.
