The following notes will help you in completing the application form:

• Properties with a rateable value of £2600 or more will receive empty property relief for the first three months for which the property is empty, or in the case of industrial property, six months.
• Please provide full details of what was stored in the property before it became 'void', including a photograph of the items stored there. Without this we will not be able to make a full decision on the relief.
