When you complete this form, the information you include will be used in order to process your nomination for the Freedom of the District award. We may use your personal data so we can contact you about your nomination.

We will publish details of anyone receiving an award on our website (name and reasons for the nomination).  

The information as to reason for appointment will be recorded within Council minutes which are held in perpetuity. Your contact details will also be retained to ensure that those holding the honour can be invited to specific civic functions and events.

Those nominating an individual, will have their personal data retained for one year after the decision is taken on the nomination. All data will be held electronically within WDC and deleted at the end of the calendar year after the period of retention.
