The Government has announced a range of cash grant payments to small businesses and also to those businesses in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors to support them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We understand this is a difficult time for businesses and we are working hard to get the applicable grant paid to you as soon as we can but in order to do so we need you to complete the following information as a matter of urgency.
Payments
We can only make these grant payments by BACS. If you currently pay by direct debit we will use the bank details provided on this application form to check them against the details we hold on our records. If you currently do not pay by direct debit we will check the bank details provided match those of the liable person or business and will use them to pay your grant to you. If there are any discrepancies we will ask you for proof that the bank account details you have provided are correct.
Fraudulent Claims
The Government will not accept deliberate manipulation and fraud - and any business caught falsifying their records to gain additional grant money will face prosecution and any funding issued will be subject to claw back.
Privacy notice
We will only use the information you provide to enable us to pay the Government’s Business Support Grants. Your data will not be shared with anyone outside of Warwick District Council and we will keep the data securely for up to 6 years. The legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the local authority.

State Aid law
The wet led pubs support grant count towards state aid. Payments count towards the total de minimis State aid you're allowed to get over a 3-year period - €200,000. If you have reached that threshold, you may still be eligible for funding under the COVID-19 Temporary Framework. The limit for the framework is €800,000.
Please confirm that:
- you will not exceed the relevant State aid threshold
- you were not an 'undertaking in difficulty' on 31 December 2019. This applies only to the COVID-19 Temporary Framework
