Discounts are available for performances where stated. Only one discount can apply to any one ticket. We reserve the right to introduce discounts and special offers at any time, and these cannot be applied to tickets already purchased. You may be asked to provide proof of eligibility.

Yes. When booking online, you will be e-mailed an E-Ticket, which then acts as your proof of purchase. No other tickets will be sent in the post to you, so please print this at home and bring it with you. Alternatively, you may want to save the E-Ticket to your mobile phone or tablet and present that on the door.
If you do not wish to print your tickets, or if you are booking by telephone, you may collect them from the Visitor Information Centre during our opening hours or from the Box Office at the Spa Centre in the hour before a performance. Please note that the box office does become very busy before performances, so allow plenty of time.
We do not send tickets in the post.
When collecting tickets, we will require proof of purchase - usually the address you gave at the point of purchase, or the booking reference number.
Once paid for, tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. Please check your ticket details carefully at the point of purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified at a later date.
However, if the performance has sold out, we may attempt to re-sell the tickets on your behalf. We charge an administration fee of £2 per ticket for this service.
For further information, please see our Terms & Conditions.

We do our best to inform our customers, but until the opening night of a show, it can sometimes be very difficult to estimate a performance’s running time. As soon as we know the running time, it will be posted on the show’s page on the website. As a guide, most of our performances last for between 2 hours 30 minutes and 3 hours, including the interval.
Due to the nature of live performance, this can sometimes vary drastically. Please contact the Box Office if you wish to know the running times for an event.
Children and families are welcome to any of the performances at the Royal Spa Centre, unless a show has a specific age restriction due to the adult nature of it's content. However, any child or group disturbing a show in any way will be asked to leave. Some Royal Spa Centre performances may not be suitable for babies and children under 3 years.
Children under the age of 13 years must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Where age restrictions apply we shall advertise this on publicity material.
Glassware is not permitted into the auditorium, however drinks may be taken into most performances in plastic glasses.
Only food and drink purchased from our bars may be consumed on the premises.
For some performances, we may restrict food and drink being taken into the auditorium, depending on the nature of the event.
There are many car parks close by the Royal Spa Centre and Town Hall, as well as multiple alternative options to travel to us. Please see our Getting Here pages for further information.

Reserved tickets will be held for a period of 7 days or until 1 hour before the performance is due to commence, whichever is sooner. Full payment must be made within this time to confirm the booking. After this time unpaid reservations will be released and resold and we may not contact you before doing so.
Our Box Office is manned constantly during our opening times.
If your call has not been answered it may mean that all of our box office assistants are dealing with other customers either over the telephone or at the counter. Please try again later or alternatively, tickets can be purchased online.
We accept payment by cash and all forms of credit card, with the exception of American Express.
We regret that we can no longer accept personal cheques.
On selected shows a per ticket booking fee is included in the advertised ticket price. We accept all major credit cards with the exception of American Express. Please do not send cash through the post.
As with most ‘receiving theatres’, the majority of the productions at the Royal Spa Centre are brought to us by external companies. These companies take the majority share of the Box Office income and the Royal Spa Centre receives a relatively small proportion of the ticket price that you pay.
We wish to offer our customers the best possible service, but we must also cover the direct costs involved in providing it. We prefer to try and keep ticket prices as low as possible and give our customers transparent choices rather than making these charges mandatory by including them in the ticket price or compulsory booking fees, as others do.
