Clapham Terrace Primary School and Ecotherapy @ Foundry Wood are amongst the winners of Warwick District Council’s ‘Postcards from Home’ competition.
The challenge which was set by the Council in September, as part of the National Lottery Funded Pump Room Gardens project, invited local residents and community groups to create their own piece of history by designing a postcard of Leamington Spa’s popular village green.
The winning designs from five categories selected by the competition’s judging panel, have now been printed as a set of commemorative 2020 postcards.
Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Neighbourhood Services Councillor Moira-Ann Grainger commented;
“We are really impressed by the creativity and high standard of entries and want to thank everyone for taking part. Once the current restrictions are lifted I would warmly encourage people to come along to the Royal Pump Rooms and other visitor information centres from where the postcards will be available.”
