Warwick District Council and Bishop’s Tachbrook Parish Council are encouraging local people to have their say on the facilities they would like to see at a new community hub.
The Lower Heathcote Local Centre will be situated adjacent to Heathcote Primary School and the junction of Harbury Lane and will serve the area’s new housing developments as well as the existing local community. Following the postponement of a public event, LSP Developments who have been appointed to develop the scheme have put the plans online along with a survey to find out the range of shops, services and amenities people would like to see located in and around the new community square.
Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Business and Environment Councillor Alan Rhead commented;
“The Lower Heathcote Local Centre is a much needed facility to serve the needs of the growing population and provide a hub for the community to meet and socialise. We would therefore encourage local people to give their feedback and views on this important scheme.”
In the coming weeks LSP Developments hope to reschedule the public consultation and make provision for those without online access to complete the survey, subject to government restrictions.
