Warwick District Council is embarking on a major study to explore whether, where and how a new "Health Hub” can be created in Lillington.

This would incorporate a new surgery to replace the current one on Cubbington Road, but could also provide space for other health care services. The Council will be working with the South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group, Cubbington Road Surgery, South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, Public Health & Strategic Commissioning (part of Warwickshire County Council) and other partners in this study.

In supporting this work, Cllr Andrew Thompson, Portfolio Holder for Health & Community Protection said:

“Warwick District Council has been supporting our community in Lillington for a number of years, and continues to look at projects that could be a benefit to the area. We have long been aware of the desire from the NHS to improve facilities for patient care in this area. This is a project that has the potential for better health care for residents, and we are looking forward to working with all our partners to see if we can make this a reality.”
