As part of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week 2024, Warwick District Council’s Community Safety Team will be holding a community drop-in event for members of the public.
The event provides an opportunity to discuss issues around crime and anti-social behaviour in the community, and offer crime prevention advice and support.
The session will take place on Wednesday 20 November from 10am to 2pm at South Lodge, which is located at the Parade entrance to Jephson Gardens, opposite the Royal Pump Rooms (What3Words location: urban.owls.bunch).
The team will also be joined by Neighbourhood Watch, who will offer crime prevention packs and equipment.
Councillor Jim Sinnott, Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities, Leisure & Environment commented:
“We recognise the importance of listening to the experiences of residents, which helps shape the community service we offer and ensures our district is as safe as possible. I’d encourage anyone with concerns or questions about anti-social behaviour, crime prevention or community safety to drop in and see us, so that together we can make our communities safer.”
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week is a nationwide campaign that aims to raise awareness about ASB and how to tackle it. The theme for 2024 is “Making Communities Safer.”
