Bowls clubs across Warwick District will be opening their doors over the Spring Bank Holiday as part of a nationwide campaign to give people the opportunity to have a go at bowls for free.
Bowls’ Big Weekend, organised by Bowls England, will run from Friday 24 May to Monday 27 May, with clubs across the country hosting events over the weekend. Some clubs will have additional activities during their event, including refreshments.
It is a great opportunity for individuals, friends, families, and work colleagues to get together and try a new, inclusive sport in the great outdoors.
The majority of participating clubs will be offering casual sessions so that attendees can continue to play the sport following Bowls’ Big Weekend.
To find more details about your nearest club, including accessibility, further information, and details on how to sign up for your session in advance, visit the Bowls' BIG Weekend website.
