The event is being hosted by Warwick District Council with support from Job Centre Plus. Over 40 local businesses will be taking part with the hope of capturing the interest of job seekers and students for a wide range of vacancies in sectors including retail, health and social care and hospitality.  

As well as having the chance to talk to prospective employers, the fair will also address the cost-of-living crisis with visitors being given the opportunity to meet with Warwick District Council’s Financial Inclusion Service and Severn Trent for financial advice and to find out about eligibility for benefits or grant schemes.

Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Arts & Economy Councillor Ella Billiald commented:

“We’re very pleased to be hosting this timely local event, that is open to everyone who is seeking work, looking for a career change, wanting to find out about training opportunities or needs financial support or guidance.”
