Arts Project Grants

Secret City Arts

An Arts Project Grant has been awarded to Secret City Arts who are developing and co-creating projects in consultation with adults, children, and local community groups. It is led by storyteller Pyn Stockman and writer and counsellor Mandy Ross.
The funding will support Well-Being Brew which is an artist and community group creative collaboration project. While exploring a range of inter-linked creative practices, Secret City Arts build and sustain well-being, both individually and cohesively within communities. They are offering 3 immersive performance events with sensory tea tasting in three locations in Warwick District.

Live Well & Dance with Parkinson's

An Arts Project Grant has been awarded to People Dancing: The Foundation for Community Dance, which is a development and membership organisation for community and participatory dance, driving forward inclusion and excellence through professional development, resources & safeguarding services, specialist programmes & networks.
The funding will support their Live Well & Dance with Parkinson’s programme, which includes creative dance classes for people living with Parkinson’s and their carers/family members in the community of Leamington, Warwickshire.

Arts Development Grant

Warwickshire Singers 

An Arts Development Grant was awarded to Warwickshire Singers who are a non-auditioned mixed chamber choir. Attracting people of all ages with a wide range of life experiences from across Warwick District. They love singing and share a passion for developing the appreciation of music through the presentation of public concerts. The funding helped to develop the choir, attract new singers, and develop skills to perform more diverse and contemporary music. Especially music recently composed by women composers.
