Ignite 2024
Ignite 2024, the summer social for Warick District's creative community, took place at the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa on Thursday 11 July 2024 - and included an evening of performances, installations, and Pecha Kucha Presentations.
We were thrilled to present work by Motionhouse, Millennial Wizard, and Chris Knight, and provided exclusive after-hours access to Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum’s new Exhibition Leamington Spa and the Black Atlantic.
Here's a summary of delegate feedback captured via an evaluation survey:
- 120 delegates attended Ignite 2024
- 67% of respondents had previously attended a Spark or Ignite event.
- The primary motivation to attend was to meet other creatives and see local arts activities (performance or creative sector work).
- 62% of respondents rated the overall format of the event as between 7 and 10 out of 10 (where 10 is excellent and 0 is poor).
- 89.5% of respondents rated the programme of art as between 7 and 10 out of 10 (where 10 is excellent and 0 is poor).
- 55% of respondents rated the opportunities to meet new people as between 7 and 10 out of 10 (where 10 is excellent and 0 is poor).
- 96.5% of respondents rated the customer service as between 8 and 10 out of 10 (where 10 is excellent and 0 is poor).
- 92.9% of respondents rated the venue’s facilities as between 8 and 10 out of 10 (where 10 is excellent and 0 is poor).
- The top three words used to describe the event were Inspiring, Interesting, and Exciting.
- 62.96% of respondents said they would like to see Pecha Kucha Style Presentations again in the future.
- 92.86% of respondents would like to see another open call out for artists to share work at future Ignite events.
- 96.55% of respondents felt that attending Ignite was a good use of their time.
- 82.76% of respondents would recommend Ignite to a friend or colleague.
