Information that we collect from you

We collect information from you when you fill in one of our on-line forms or contact us about your waste and recycling collections in writing or over the phone.

The amount and type of information we collect for managing your waste and recycling collections includes the following.

  • Names
  • Address
  • Contact details, including email address

The information you give us when using our on-line payment system will only be used for the recording of your payment.

Filling in an online form

Stratford-on-Avon District Council are managing some aspects of the waste collection service and are hosting a number of forms on their website. This means that forms may look like the Warwick District Council website, but you are actually completing it while on the stratford.gov.uk website. The following forms are hosted on the Stratford-on-Avon District Council website:

  • Garden waste subscriptions
  • Bulky waste collections
  • New or replacement bin orders
  • Bin removal — collecting unwanted bins
  • Assisted collection request
  • Refuse enquiry
  • Report a missed bin

Why we collect and use this information

The personal data that you provide will be used to allow us to manage waste collections and other related services. On submission of the form, your information will be sent to the relevant teams to deal with your request. The legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the data controller.

Your information may be shared with the following organisations.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council

The 123+ waste collection service is a joint service between both Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon District Councils. Your information will be shared across both organisations. Further information can be found at:
