Memorial permit applications
Permission to erect or maintain a cemetery memorial can only be requested by the registered owner of the exclusive right of burial, and carried out by a competent monumental mason listed on the BRAMM, NAMM or RQMF register.

- Prices for sale of Exclusive Right of Burial will be TREBLED where the purchaser of the rights is not resident in Warwick District.
- Prices for Burial (unless otherwise stated) will be TREBLED where the deceased person is not resident in Warwick District.
- Extension of expired rights for non-standard graves will be calculated pro-rata per square foot.
- Standard graves will accommodate a maximum coffin size of 6’9” x 25”, it is not possible to inter a coffin larger than 25” into a standard grave space, a large grave will be required. Child graves will accommodate a maximum coffin size of 2’6” x 12”. Cremated remains plots will accommodate a maximum casket size of 12” x 12".
- Where a funeral is privately arranged by a parent or person with parental responsibility for a child and that person is resident in the council tax area of Warwick District Council there will be no charge for the burial or cremation of that child. If the person does not live in the Warwick District Council tax area the non-resident fee will apply, this will be claimed from the central government fund where appropriate. Where the funeral is not privately arranged by a parent or person with parental responsibility the non-resident fee will apply, this can not be claimed from the central government fund.
- Where a grave has been purchased for future use and is transferred to a non-resident prior to any interments taking place the non-resident fee will apply.
