Warwick District Council publicises planning applications in accordance with national guidance which advises that they should do so by either notifying adjoining neighbours or posting a site notice.
All planning applications are publicised by notifying those neighbours who share a physical boundary with the application site. Where that shared boundary is separated by a road or pavement this will include those properties.
In the circumstances where private land sharing a physical boundary with the application site does not have a postal address, for example if it is vacant or open land, a site notice will also be posted.
In accordance with national guidance, proposals which relate to listed buildings, are within a conservation area or which fall into the major development category will also be publicised by the posting of a site and press notice.
