Permit holder parks code of conduct
The following applies to all Park Exercise Permit holders and must always be abided by. Non-compliance will result in your permit being revoked.
We ask you as permit holders to:
- Inform all participants joining your activity of your full joining instructions along with details of public facilities, First Aid arrangements and car parking.
- Ensure that pathways are kept clear and accessible for all users.
- Remember that Park Exercise Permit holders do not have exclusive rights over any of the areas within the park.
- Remember that sports pitches and play areas must not be used for your activity delivery.
- Remember that your Park Exercise Permit states the activity, time and location you are permitted to deliver your activity. Please do not change/amend any activity delivery or location without prior consent from WDC.
- Use the armband sleeve provided, and please ensure your parks exercise permit is displayed throughout your activity.
- Manage your activity area and ensure you do not leave any rubbish or equipment following your activity session.
- Report any concerns that your activity space is being overused to the extent that it is causing wear and tear, please report to the Sports and Leisure Team immediately.
- Ensure that only handheld equipment can be used such as: jogging weights, Kettle bells, resistance bands and ropes. If you wish to use any large items of keep fit equipment, please contact us directly prior to use.
- Remember that the use of any Council property within the activity space for the purpose of fitness training i.e. benches, tables, children’s play equipment, trees, lamp posts, car park, bandstands etc are not permitted for use during your activity.
- Only use advertising material which has been pre-approved, during your session times.
- Be aware that Warwick District Council operates a zero-tolerance policy towards its staff, please treat all staff and users in a polite manner.
