The whole community is invited to join us on Saturday 28 June from 11am to 3pm with an Armed Forces Day Community Event in the Pump Room Gardens, Royal Leamington Spa.
Commemorating our Allies
Come and join us for our Armed Forces Day Community Event in Warwick District as a thank you to current and former serving members of the Armed Forces and their families.
This annual event, a staple event in the District’s calendar, builds on the success of previous years, with recognition of the Armed Forces and the contributions that our allies have made in past conflicts, and continue to make and strengthen.
The event is completely free, with activities, information, performances and displays aimed at families, individuals, military enthusiasts and current and former serving members of the Armed Forces.
What's happening on the day
- Village of stalls showcasing the military museums from Warwick
- Performances by Ruby Ann Sings
- Local military regiments
- FREE children’s activities including bouncy castle, trampolines and assault course
- FREE hot dogs and ice-creams and a Sikh Langar – vegetarian food (while stocks last)
- A Sikh Gatka martial arts display
- Tri-Service competition

The armed forces includes the British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. Together, they’re responsible for the safety and security of the UK. They're involved in combat, peacekeeping and humanitarian aid.
There are hundreds of different armed forces careers. You have the chance to see the world in many jobs you can do in civilian life. For example, a chef, a nurse or an engineer.
They also have lots of roles that you'll only find in the forces. These roles include tank crew or military intelligence specialists.
