16th August 2022
This is a chance for aspiring song writers to get together and share ideas for developing new songs.
Michael Luntley has performed almost 100 of his songs in folk clubs, and has poems in two published volumes of poetry.
He is a guitarist and singer with a strong line in story-telling. For example, his 'From this Ground' (seven songs plus poetry by Olga Dermott) describes the 1872 emmigration of Warwickshire farm labourers to Brazil in search of a better life.
You can bring ideas for songs to share, or try techniques that Michael uses to develop something new. Singers and players of any instrument are welcome.

The workshop is in the Jephson Studio, Jephson Gardens (attached to the Glasshouse)
