Description

Fire safety regulations in relation to high rise buildings have recently changed and there has been a reassessment of fire risk at Christine Ledger Square, a high-rise block of flats. In the meantime whilst a report is undertaken a physical presence is needed at the building to assist reidents and the fire service.

Reason for exemption

This is a measure we are taking urgently without obtaining competitive tenders or quotes to ensure the wellbeing of residents and the building over this period. The company appointed is an experienced, competent company that has been able to mobilise resources at very short notice which was an absolute requirement.
