Data connection maintenance for Althorpe Hub and 26HT – exemption to direct award for 2 years

Reason for exemption

A review of services and the market was anticipated to be undertaken early 2020 to enable a procurement to be undertaken prior to end of contract August 2020. Due to restrictions and complications caused by COVID-19, this has been unable to be actioned fully. As a compromise, it has been agreed to merge the contracts for Althorpe Hub and 26HT into a single contract and direct award to the incumbent supplier until a full review and procurement can be undertaken.
