Description

General markets concession contract – exemption granted to vary contract to extend for a year.

Reason for exemption

Engagement with suppliers was due to be undertaken in May/June 2020 to determine the feasibility of replacing the contract is it current format. The pandemic prevented this engagement from being undertaken due to supplier closures and furloughing. As such it was determined that the best option would be to extend the contract in order to allow the supply market to stabilise so that an accurate feasibility study can be undertaken.
