There are currently 850 Neighbourhood Watch schemes/coordinators in Warwick district.
Warwick District Council works closely with Mid Warwickshire Neighbourhood Watch (MWNHW) to make communities feel safer.
Neighbourhood Watch is the largest community safety organisation in the country. It is a partnership between the Police, Community Safety departments of local authorities, other voluntary organisations and individuals and families who want to make their neighbourhoods better places to live.
MWNHW has participated in a number of Action Days with partners from the District Council, Warwickshire Police and Warwickshire County Council. Most recently, vehicle owners parking at Station Approach in Leamington were advised about security and late night shoppers made aware of acquisitive crime.
Warwickshire Police recognise the importance of Neighbourhood Watch. You can find a local Neighbourhood Watch on the Warwickshire police website.
