The Myton Path will be a vital link in the local sustainable transport network and will reduce existing traffic on Myton Road. It will also create a rear entrance for Myton School and the Warwick Schools Foundation schools, providing sustainable transport links to all the new facilities located in the Fusiliers Way area, as well as for employees on the Warwick Technology Park.

The Myton Path is a vital element of a wide ranging and ambitious scheme for the community development of the Fusiliers Way area. Other proposals include the following new facilities and opportunities:

  • Community Stadium that will serve as the new home ground of Leamington Football Club
  • Athletics facility to replace the existing facility at Edmondscote
  • Neighbourhood Centre including local shops
  • Employment opportunities
  • Community facilities of various types
  • New nursery for pre-school children

All of these proposals have been brought together into a Masterplan for the area alongside Fusiliers Way, to show how the new facilities fit with new and existing schools and other local land uses.
